The Rex cigarettes series is a very obscure real albumen photo series classified by Burdick as N619. The cards can be found in a couple varieties. The type one cards just have 'Rex Cigarettes' on the front bottom and the second type have "Danville Rex Cigarettes".
This lot is for a single N619 Rex Cigarettes card picturing a young girl in a bonnet. The card has some surface scratching on the image but is in about VGEX to EX condition otherwise. The back has some very light staining. This series is particularly difficult to obtain a type card and that's evident by the fact that there were no examples shown in the American Tobacco Cards guide. A great addition to even the best of collections.
