N152 Duke Photos From Life Preferred Stock Actress Cards lot of (25) Different

The Duke N152 Photos from Life series pictures approximately 400 of the actresses of the day with an albumen photo affixed to a thick mount. The back of the mount advertises for Duke's product 'Preferred Stock' Cigarettes. The backs advertise that there are 240 varieties in the series but many more have been cataloged. Some actresses have more than one pose. The cards are square but must be tilted to view the actresses head on a horizontal format.

This lot of (25) N152 Photos from Life cards from Duke are in generally about VG to VGEX condition with a couple better and couple worse. There are a few which have been hand-tinted in the lot which is very common for the issue. Photo clarity runs the gamut in this lot as does the general cards in the issue but these are overall very nice to even above average. Most cards are head shots with a nice full pose of Annie Pixley that is clean.
