Buchner tobacco issued a number of sets, many of which are difficult to collect due to scarcity. The N290 Morning Glory Maidens was from Victory Tobacco by Buchner is one of those difficult sets. With a total of 30 subjects, the cards picture 15 different maidens and 15 different flowers. The card fronts are sepia-toned with black line drawings and the back checklists all (30) cards and advertises for Buchner's Victory tobacco.
This lot is for a single N290 Buchner Morning Glory Maidens and Flowers type card picturing Florette. The card is in pleasing EX condition with a clean front and back and a very difficult type card to add to even the best of 19th century type card collections.
