The Novel Candy company issued a number of boxed candy sets that had cards on one side that could be punched out. They have become very popular over the last few years and are getting progressively more difficult and expensive. The ACC lists (8) different sets and has the R722-5 set as the Pirate Adventures set. Most sets number (12) cards and most cards are crude line drawing type cards with a small narrative on an otherwise uninspiring back of the card, numbered at the top center.
This card is R722-5 Pirate Adventure #1 Jean Lafitte and has been graded by PSA as Poor-1. PSA is notoriously difficult on Novel Candy cards as when punched out, they often have paper loss on the back and they are printed on lower grade card stock to begin with.
