The N268 Lorillard Tobacco Circus series is a series of (25) Lorillard cards picturing scenes from the Circus. Clowns and horses are the predominant them in the series. There are four different front/back combinations and advertisements. The Red Cross issue with the name on the frontf and a blank back. Another type has Red Cross on front and back. Another type has Sensation Cut Plug on front and back and a final, fourth type doesn't have tobacco advertising at all.
This lot includes a pair of N268 Lorillard Tobacco Circus cards to include a copy with Sensation Cut Plug advertising on front and back and the Red Cross type with advertising on both as well. Both cards are in lower grade and have some condition issues. The Sensation version has back damage and the Red Cross version has a pinhole at the top center and what appears to be a water stain on top of the trapeze. A good lot for the beginning type card collector.
