The N121 Duke Tobacco Musical Instruments set is a (25) card, large-format set issued by Duke Tobacco in their Honest Long Cut product in the late 1880's to early 1890's. The cards have ornately lithographed fronts picturing two images from Duke's smaller-format set of Musical Instruments. The backs have a checklist of all (50) instruments pictured in the series.
This lot of (4) PSA-Graded cards includes the following subjects: Drum/Bass Drum (PSA4 VGEX), Heralds Trumpet/Hunting Horn (PSA4 VGEX), Lute/Bass Violin (PSA4.5 VGEX+) and Violin/Violincello (PSA4 VGEX). A total of (50) of these cards have been graded by PSA with the vast majority of them falling into the PSA4/5 range.
