The R61 Government Agents v. Public Enemies set is a (24) card strip card set issued in the 1930's. The criminals of the 1930's and those pursuing them captured the minds and curiosity of American's children. Dick Tracy, G-Men and many, many strip card sets offered kids a look into the lives of these pursuers and pursued. R61 was one of the many card sets that Michael Pressner (otherwise known as M.P.&Co for other period sets) issued during the 1930's. Most all the sets were issued in 8 card strips and were likely a point-of-sale award for purchasing some type of candy. They were included with the "R" series cards due to this reason.

This set of (24) cards number from 201-224 and are largely in EX to EXMT condition. Often found in lower shape, this is one of the cleaner sets of these we have seen.
