The T59 Flags series is a (200) card set that was actually issued in four different (50) card series to arrive at the total. What the T206 set is to baseball collecting, the T59 set can be to nonsport collecting. There are around 30 different back variations for the T59 flag cards in both company of issue and the color of the backs within those companies. Some backs are prohibitively difficult and others are extremely common. The nuances of collecting the backs of any set can be daunting but collectors willing to tackle the T59 set will find what is rumored to be about 7700 variations looming out there.
This is a single copy of the French Colonies West card with the very elusive Sweet Caporal Tobacco Wrappers back. The card is in VG to VGEX condition.
