The T118 Hassan Tobacco World's Greatest Explorers is a (25) card set picturing the Explorers of the early 20th century known to be some of the World's greatest. The subjects include famous explorers like Peary, Shackelton, Stanley and Livingstone, Henry Hudson and many more. The set employs colorful pictures on the front and a biography on the back.
This lot includes (3) subjects from the T118 Hassan Tobacco set in a proof format. The backs are blank of the normal biography and two of the three cards have purple printing about the proof process on the back while the third is completely blank. All three cards have the characteristic hash marks in the center of each side of the border of the card and are in about EX to EX+ condition. All three have been trimmed which is generally always found with proof cards from this time period.
