The R191 Big Alarm Candy set was issued by General Gum of Chicago, Illinois. The boxes pictured a fire truck on one side and a person on the other and there were six unique boxes in a complete set. The images are frequently found cut from the package design and were given the classification R191 by Jefferson Burdick in the American Card Catalog.The box measures 5-1/8" x 2-3/4" x 1-5/8".
This box is in VG to VGEX condition except for the one end flap which is detached but present. This is the first and only Big Alarm Candy box we have handled.
