The N8 Allen & Ginter Fish from American Waters set is one of two fish-themed sets Allen & Ginter produced in the late 1880's picturing the same artwork. The companion N39 set uses the same N8 artwork with some additional embellishing on the margins of the card in a larger format. The artwork would be used in a number of sets into the 1910's and 1920's from the US and Canada and used abroad for American Tobacco Company.

This lot of (28) cards all grade between VG and EX with the majority being in the VGEX+ range with a couple lower grade exceptions. Great lot that constitutes 56% of a complete set.
