The T42 Bird Series is a great series of 100 cards that were made advertising a number of different tobacco companies. There are extreme rarities in the backs of these cards and cards that are easily found. What is not found, however, are super high grade cards like this one. Although the SGC Population reports are somewhat challenged right now, this appears to be the highest graded SGC T42 card with none higher. The PSA reports note (3) T42 Gold Borders that are graded PSA8.
This T42 in SGC86 or NM+ 7.5 pictures Starling with a Mecca back from Factory 649. Beaufiul card that would be a great addition to a high quality collection.
