The V254 Pappoose Gum is one of the many sets that use the Allen & Ginter artwork from the 1880's. The artwork, as it has in other later series, has reversed images and embellished artwork--feathers added and brighter colors. The set contains the same (50) subjects as do the other variations of the artwork.

This lot of (23) cards represents nearly half of the set of (50) cards. The cards are all in VG to VGEX with a couple better and couple worse. The cards in the lot include 1, 3, 4, 6, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 28, 38, 39, 41, 43, 47, 48, 49 and 50.
