The V118 Ganong set is titled the "Big Chief" set and uses much of the same artwork as the N2 Allen & Ginter cards. The same artwork has been used countless times from the 1880's through 1940's. The Ganong set is believed to have been issued in 1939. The cards are similarly sized to the N and T cards.
This lot includes a group of four PSA-Graded V118 Ganong Big Chief subjects to include the following: #11 Iron Bull PSA5 EX, #33 Big Bear PSA6 EXMT, #35 Many Horns PSA6 EXMT and #49 Young Black Dog PSA5 EX. Great lot for the Indian collector or the person working on the V118 Ganong set.
