Auction #2 - June 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/23/2019
The Horrors of War set is one of the most iconic nonsports sets of all time. The set was issued in the U.S. by the Gum Inc company of Philadelphia, PA. The same artwork was used on a set that was scaled back size-wise in Canada by O-Pee-Chee in 1938. The first 48 cards are considered the low number cards and the final 24 cards are high series and much tougher than the low numbers.
This lot of (6) cards are all PSA-Graded and includes the following numbers: #15 PSA3.5 VG+, #16 PSA3 VG, #29 PSA3 VG, #33 PSA2 Good, #39 PSA3 VG, #48 PSA3.5 VG+. The cards all look better than the grades. Great lot for the set builder of this tough set.
