The D117 Weber Bread Famous Men set uses artwork from the T68 Heroes of History Set. The images, as with many of the Weber Bread cards, have been reversed from the T68 tobacco cards. Although the images are from Heroes of History, not all the subjects in Heroes of History have been seen in the Weber Famous Men set.
This lot contains (9) PSA-Graded D117 Weber Bread cards to include the following cards: PSA3 VG (1 card: Ethan Allen), PSA4 VGEX (6 cards: Li Hung Chang, Peter Cooper, General Grant, Daniel O’Connell, Count Leo Tolstoi and Daniel Webster), PSA4.5 VGEX+ (2 cards: Henry Hudson, Kosciusko). Great lot for the set builder or someone looking to start a new collection. The cards display much better than their grade and PSA is typically very harsh on the Weber Bread cards due to the thin card stock and method of distribution.
