The R44 International Chewing Gum Don't let it Happen Over here is a (24) card series picturing atrocities of war from all over the world with the tagline "Don't let it happen over Here". The cards feature colorful but somewhat crude artwork--especially compared to contemporary card series from Gum Inc and other manufacturers like Horrors of War or War Gum or other sets. The card backs contain an ofen graphic narrative talking about War and overseas atrocities of the early part of WWII.
This complete set of R44 International Gum Don't Let it Happen Over Here has been completely graded by PSA with the following subjects: #1 (PSA4.5 VGEX+), #2 (PSA5 EX), #3 (PSA5 EX), #4 (PSA4 VGEX), #5 (PSA4 VGEX), #6 (PSA4 VGEX), #7 (PSA4 VGEX), #8 (PSA4 VGEX), #9 (PSA5.5 EX+), #10 (PSA3 VG), #11 (PSA5 EX), #12 (PSA2 Good), #13 (PSA5 EX), #14 (PSA4 VGEX), #15 (PSA6 EXMT), #16 (PSA5.5 EX+), #17 (PSA2 Good), #18 (PSA5.5 EX+), #19 (PSA6 EXMT), #20 (PSA2 Good), #21 (PSA4 VGEX(MC)), #22 (PSA5.5 EX+), #23 (PSA4 VGEX) and #24 (PSA4.5 VGEX+). This set is a beautiful set in mid range with an average GPA of 4.33 or VGEX+. This GPA would put this set in the #5 current finest spot. Great opportunity to pick up a turnkey set. There are (2) PSA2's in the set and (1) PSA3. Those cards display very nicely but could be easily upgraded to take this to an all PSA4 set. Just a great set.
