The N43 Allen & Ginter World's Champions set is a (50) card companion set to the N29 smaller version set of the same name. The Champions pictured in the set come from sports such as Base ball, Boxing, Billiards, Champion Walkers and others. The (4) baseball cards in the set are by far the most popular and retain the greatest value. The boxers are also very popular as well. The set was issued in larger boxes of Richmond Straight Cut cigarettes and are both difficult to find and more condition sensitive than their diminutive brothers.
This lot of (6) N43 Allen & Ginter Champions are in lower condition--most of them have some level of back damage. The lot includes the following subjects: M. W. Ford (All-around athlete), E.C. Carter (Runner), L.E. Myers (Runner), Pat'k Fitzgerald (Go as you please), Willie Harradon (Cyclist) and Dr. Jas Dwight (Lawn Tennis). Nice filler lot for the collector of this tough set.
