No character typified the Wild West of the United States more than William F Cody or "Buffalo Bill" as he was known. Traveling the countryside with his Wild West Show, he memorialized the life of the Wild West. He toured with Annie Oakley and his show included cowboys and Indians and sensationalized other aspects of life on the plains.
This lot includes 6 postcard-sized items picturing Buffalo Bill. They include (2) color postcards picturing chest-high shot of Buffalo Bill--one with "Colonel W. F. Cody" and one with "Lookout Mountain, Colo" (his burial spot) on the front. All cards are in about VGEX to EX condition and postally unused. Most all have a price written on the back in pencil.
