This is a fantastic trade card from Allen & Ginter to advertise their Pet Cigarette product. It pictures the same subjects as the individual cards from the N312 Winged Birds of Plumage series. The trade card pictures three subjects from the series--Alexander Parrott, Bird of Paradise I and Golden-crested Wren in a horizontal strip-type format. This strip is often found cut into individual cards and sold as part of the N312 series, but the Allen & Ginter versions are not cataloged in the ACC as individual cards. This strip is approximately 8" by 4" and, while technically poor condition, displays nicely.
The card displays pinholes on both sides (left and right) along with one on the middle card at the top. In addition to the pinholes, the back of the card has issues from being glued into a scrapbook at one time. Still a presentable, tough piece from Allen & Ginter.
