The R109 Gum Inc Pirates Picture Gum set is a (72) card set picturing the daily life and antics of Pirates. The subject was a popular subject from the 1930's and 1940's with other sets including the Goudey and Leaf Pirates sets also sharing wild popularity. The imaginations of young kids in the 1930's and 1940's were piqued with the images on these cards and the narratives on the card backs.
This lot is for a single R109 Pirate's wrapper from Gum Inc. The wrapper is in G condition with significant creasing but otherwise mostly clean images and is intact structurally.
