The R141 General Gum Soldiers set is a (10) 'card' set picturing soldiers from around the world. The cards picture two pictures of the soldier right next to each other with tabs on the card meaning to have the cards folded and made into a three dimensional stand-up soldier. The cards were issued by General Gum of Chicago and one of a number of sets that they issued during the 1930's gum era.
This lot is for a pair of the tough R141 General Gum Soldiers cards including the Indian - Jacob's Horse - 1st Lieutenant and German - 1st Lieutenant cards. The German card is in fair condition with some tape on the back holding the parts of the card that are typically stressed condition-wise. The Jacob's Horse card is in about VG condition with no major condition issues other than a small crease or two and honest wear around the edges.
