The N131 Duke Tobacco Stars of the Stage Third Series is a 25 card set of black bordered actress cards and one of a number of Stars of the Stage sets from Duke Honest Long Cut Tobacco from the late 1880's to 1890's. The black border are a little tougher to get in higher grade due to the black borders.
This near set of (17/25) N131 Duke Tobacco Stars of the Stage Third Series is in a very consistent VG to EX condtiion, mostly averaging VGEX with a few lesser and a few better condition cards. Eight cards from a complete set, this lot is a very pleasing group and would make a great addition to a 19th century tobacco collection.
