This beautiful hangar card in this lot advertises for "Old Virginia Cheroots" of the American Tobacco Company from Richmond, Virginia. The hangar card is blank-backed and pictures a Victorian lady in lime green with darker green highlights. The lady has flowers in both her hair and on her shoulder and she is wearing a beautiful pearl necklace. The card is in overall GVG to VG condition with normal stress to the corners but a clean grommet and hole at the top center. This piece would likely have hung from some type of string in a period tobacconists shop as advertising to drive sales for Old Virginia Cheroots. Great piece.
