The R54 set is one of a number of strip sets issued in the 1930's. The Foreign Legion set was issued in 1939 and was issued in strips of 8 cards with a total of 6 strips comprising the set of 48 cards. The cards picture the exciting adventures of the Foreign Legion in bold, bright colors.
This lot of (22) cards break down as follows: PSA6 EXMT (4 cards), PSA5 EX (6 cards), PSA4 VGEX (4 cards), PSA3 VG (4 cards), PSA2.5 G+ (2 cards) PSA2 GD (3 cards) and PSA1.5 F+ (2 cards). The card numbers contained in this lot are: 325, 326, 327, 330, 331, 333, 335, 336(2), 338, 340, 343, 344, 347, 349, 350, 352, 360(2), 363, 366, 368, 372(3). Most of the lower grade cards have been downgraded due to some substance on the back of the cards or how they were cut/torn. They all present well regardless of the grade.
