The R90 Mickey Mouse and the Movie Stars set was a 24 card set issued by Gum, Inc in 1935. It is a continuation of the R89 Mickey Mouse 96 card set, being numbered 97-120. The set is extremely difficult to find and commands a significant premium over the R89 cards. The cards picture Mickey Mouse with a movie star and some hints to that person's identity. The back has a spot to write the movie star's name and the majority of the ones in this auction have had that name written on the back in pen.
This card pictures #118 Leslee Howard and is noted as such on the back in pen. The card is about GVG with some surface wear but very clean otherwise.
