This small set is believed to be by Nannini of Italy from the early 1950's. The cards are small in stature and are printed on relatively thin stock. The background color is green and they picture famous movie stars on the front with the star's name on the back of the card. The set has many of the stars of the day and many names we're familiar with even today.
The cards are in G to VG condition with a few better and a few worse. 6 of them have "1932" written on the back of them. The lot includes the following stars: Dana Andrews, William Bendix, Geraldine Brooks, Joan Caulfield, Bill Dalton, Bob Dalton, Penni Edwards, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Barry Fitzgerald(2), Will Fyffe, Clark Gable, Danny Kaye, Stan Laurel, Herbert Marshall, Virginia Mayo, Ray Milland, Michele Morgan, Dick Powell, Marjorie Reynolds, Mickey Rooney, Gail Russel, James Stewart, Shirley Temple, Franchot Tone, Alida Valli, Gornel Wilde and Robert Young.
