The S72 ATC Actress Tobacco Silks is a (102) silk set picturing actresses that can be found with tobacco advertising for a number of different concerns at the bottom front of the silk. The advertising includes Old Mill, Pet, Piedmont, Turkey Red, Nebo and Zira.
This amazing S72 ATC Actress Silks Display with (45) Silks is in a 9 silk wide by 5 silk high format with very interesting stitching holding the piece together. The brands from the bottom of the silks are hidden and there is a cotton poplin border and the piece is in technically lower grade with some fraying and issues in the top center of the piece. The piece displays excellently however. For the baseball afficianado, the fourth silk down on the left hand side pictures smiling Broadway star, Blossom Seeley who was the wife of Rube Marquard--famous pitcher for the New York Giants. This fantastic piece would make a great addition to any silks collection or for anyone who loves display pieces.
