Goudey or World Wide Gum issued the Jungle Gum set in 1930. The set is 48 cards issued in two series of 24. The first series is numbered 1-24, while the second series is skip numbered from 25-71. The cards picture wild animals typically in jungle settings and have colorful pastel-colored fronts with the characteristic green typeset backs. This set of 48 is a mostly clean EX type set. One of the nicer sets issued early in the "R" candy and gum era.
This lot of (53) R78 Goudey Jungle Gum cards are in mixed condition from Fair to EX with most cards being in VG/VGEX. There is some light duplication in the lot.
