The N118 Duke Jokes large format set of 25 cards pictures two images from the N81 Dukes Jokes smaller format series of 50 cards. This series is believed to have been issued in the period of the early 1890's. The cards picture jokes that have, in most cases, lost their impact when viewed by the 21st Century collector. The card backs list the checklists of all the individual titles and sport an advertisement for Duke's Honest Long Cut brand.
This lot of (3) N118 Duke Honest Long Cut Jokes cards include one card in Fair with corner clip and dirty back and a pair of cards in VG that are mostly clean.
