The N489 Blue Bordered Actresses set is a set of stock photos that were used to advertise a number of different tobacco companies as well as other products. Tobacco companies using the stock to advertise include brands such as Mexican Puffs, Old Havana Puffs, Real Havana Flips, Sweet Bouquet and others from companies like Cameron & Sizer, American Cigar Company and, most commonly, American Eagle Tobacco Company. The fronts of the cards identify the subject on the card. They can also be commonly found blank backed without advertising for any specific company. The cards measure 1-1/2" wide by 2-1/2" high.
This pair of N489 cards includes a single Mexican Puffs and a Double 5 brand backs. The Mexican puffs card has some light pencil writing on the back but both cards are otherwise in VG to VGEX condition.
