The R144 Wolverine Gum Strange True Stories is a difficult set from the 1930's. The set's subjects are akin to the Ripley's Believe it or Not type of stories and contain some interesting subjects. The most popular card in the set is that of the "Bat-Man" which predates the actual Batman comics by a couple years and is very popular for nonsports and comic collectors alike.
This single R144 Wolverine Gum Strange True Stories card is #8 The Fighting Rabbit that is graded PSA Authentic. The card has creasing and moderate corner rounding but displays nicely.
