The T42 Birds set, like many of the tobacco-era sets, was issued by many different companies in many different products. Whether it's baseball players, fish, flags or birds, sets like T42 offer a set that can be collected in so many different ways. The set totals 100 cards--50 each of two different formats--one a white border format and the other a gold border format. The card backs can be found from different manufacturers and different factories--much like the T206 baseball series of a similar time frame.
This lot of (4) T42 Bird Series are all the extremely tough American Beauty advertising back cards. These cards were trimmed prior to inserting them into packs which is common for the advertising brand. These cards are in Good to VG condition.
