The N246 set can be found in one of two different formats. The smaller format measures 1-5/8" wide by 2-3/4" tall. Non-sport.com notes that at least 90 have been checklisted of the small variation. The larger size are similar to the N152 Duke Preferred stock in that they are albumen photos attached to a nearly-square mount. Around 240 of those type have been noted. Most of the stars of the day are known in both of the issues.
This lot of (4) N246 Kinney Sporting Extra (Large Format) Actresses are in VGEX condition with much better photo clarity than is usually found for this issue. Subjects in the lot include Stokes, Modjeska, Dorothy Brandon and Queenie Trowbridge. Great lot for the collector of these oddball actress cards.
