Love them or hate them, the 1959 Colinville (UK) Space Fantasy set is a kitchy set of (28) cards issued by Colinville picturing concept space aliens. The card fronts employ simple artwork that is colorful and imaginative. The backs of the cards give a name to the alien on the front with a small narrative about him/her and the checklist number. The bottom of the back also notes the series and the fact they cards are 'presented by Colinville'. Colinville issued a followup second series to the Space Fantasy series that are much more difficult to obtain than are the cards of the first series.
This single 1956 Colinville Space Fantasy is of the subject #1 Glemie in VG condition but way off center.
