R67 Heroes of the Sea Complete Strip Card set of (24) plus (1) color variation

The R67 series of 24 Heroes of the Sea Strip cards were published sometime in the mid-to-late 1930’s and were likely a point of sale premium for some type of candy or gum product. As with many of the strip card sets of the same time, they were printed in strips of eight cards and were made to be cut or torn apart. three strips made the set complete. The duplicate has different colored stripes at the top and bottom.

Condition breakdown on the set is a pleasing VGEX to EX for all (24) set cards and the duplicate (Card #460).
