The T53 Hassan Cigarettes Cowboys set is a great set picturing scenes of the Wild Western U.S. and the cowboys who were famous for inhabiting it. The artworks very nice on these with clean, bright coloring. A rope border outlines the borders of the card. It is believed that a 50th card--available in a couple other versions of the series--titled "An Exciting Game" was pulled from production of the cigarette issue due to the nature of the cowboy using a gun during a card game. While there is no conclusive evidence of this, it is about the only possible explanation given the inclusion of the card subject in the other similar sets of these cards.
This pair of T53 Hassan Cowboy cards are graded by PSA and include the following subjects: "Driving out the Horse Herd" (PSA4 VG-EX) and "Rounding Up" (PSA5 EX). Great pair of cards from this very popular set.
