The S81 Turkish Trophies Baseball silks is a (25) silk set featuring all the stars of the game of baseball in the early 1910's. The silks measure 7" x 9" and are numbered 86-110 in the series. The set is part of a larger group of redemption pieces from Turkish Trophies issued in the 1910's. The set features all the stars of the day like Christy Mathewson, Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson and the Chicago Cubs trio of fame--Tinkers, Evers and Chance. The silks are condition sensitive and are rarely found in high grade.
This S81 Turkish Trophies silk of Camnitz, Pittsburgh is in poor condition with some trimming around the outside edge.
