This series of comics came printed on wax paper either wrapped around gum or folded and inserted in a flat package of gum. It appears the series was done in the mid to late 1930's. There are two distinct series. The first portrays "generic" characters or stick figures while the higher numbers (above 130) contain adventures of Pudge, Bud, Tim and Pep the dog.
This R53 Fleer Funnies #283 "At the Gym" (Type 2) is in about VG condition with the normal types of folds.
