The Duke N152 Photos from Life series pictures approximately 400 of the actresses of the day with an albumen photo affixed to a thick mount. The back of the mount advertises for Duke's product 'Preferred Stock' Cigarettes. The backs advertise that there are 240 varieties in the series but many more have been cataloged. Some actresses have more than one pose. The cards are square but must be tilted to view the actresses head on a horizontal format.
