The A47 Kimball Cigarettes album is the companion piece to the N189 Savage and Semi-Barbarous Chiefs small format card set. The album is one of the tougher Kimball albums and is always popular due to the American Indian subjects in the 50 image set. The album measures 6" wide by 9-1/4" high. There are front and back covers and (12) interior leaves in full color. Unlike many other albums the interior leaves feature (4) card images each and the back cover features a pair of images. It is rare to have card images on the back cover of albums.
This lot is for a single A47 Kimball Cigarettes Savage and Semi-Barbarous Chiefs and Rulers Album page in VG condition. The back has some condition issues--most notably near the binding holes. Great image on the front, however, picturing native American Indians including Chief Joseph.
