The T42 Birds set, like many of the tobacco-era sets, was issued by many different companies in many different products. Whether it's baseball players, fish, flags or birds, sets like T42 offer a set that can be collected in so many different ways. The set totals 100 cards--50 each of two different formats--one a white border format and the other a gold border format. The card backs can be found from different manufacturers and different factories--much like the T206 baseball series of a similar time frame.
This T42 Birds Gold Border Complete Mixed Back Set of (50) Cards is largely in VG to EX condition with a few better and very few worse. The backs are mixed and generally common backs but there are (3)Cycle and (2)Old Mill back cards as well as (1)Piedmont Overprint cards.
