The S67 American Indian Portrait Silks set is a (50) silk set using the images from the N2 Allen & Ginter American Indans set of 20-25 years earlier. The silks are most commonly found with advertising for Tokio cigarettes at the bottom but can also be found with Sovereign advertising or be found blank. The Sovereign advertising silks are the least common of the three different types. The silks measure 2" W by 3 1/4" H and are very popular with collectors.
This complete set of (50) S67 American Tobacco American Indian Silks are largely in VG to EX condition with most around VGEX. The breakdown on the silk types includes (19)Sovereign Brand, (22) Tokio Numbered Silks, (7) Tokio Unnumbered silks and (2) unbranded silks. Great complete mixed set of this very popular silk set.
