The N154 Duke Honest Long Cut Presidential Baseball Club set is a set of at least (22) cards with a few more cards likely since most Duke sets were in the (25) card range. The cards are an oddly posed political set picturing heads of Grover Cleveland, Allen Thurman, Benjamin Harrison or Levi Morton who comprised the 1888 Democratic and Republican tickets for president and vice president. The cards picture female baseball players in different poses throughout the (22) cards with the faces of the aforementioned political luminaires superimposed over the faces of the female baseball players. The set has somewhat of a cult following and in addition to the normal oversized cards measuring 2-1/4" Wide by 4" High, there are regular cabinets and larger format cabinets of some of the poses available.
This single card from the N154 Duke Honest Long Cut Presidential Baseball Club set pictures Allen Thurman superimposed on the body of a baseball playing female. The card has been trimmed and skinned from the thick cardboard backing and also has some tears and waviness. As a filler card, this would be a good candidate until a better copy comes along.
