The R142 Goudey Soldier Boys cards were issued in 1933 like many of the other Goudey Issues. As one of the smaller Goudey sets, it is a relatively easy set to complete. The set pictures soldiers in uniform from 24 different countries including Japan, Russia, the US and others. The U.S. cards in the set include an Admiral and the U.S. Marines. The set is colorful and the wrapper is a beautiful representation of a popular subject in the 1930's--War.
This complete set of (24) R142 Goudey Soldier Boys are in Good to EXMT condition, averaging about VGEX/EX and mostly clean.
