The N38 Allen & Ginter Birds of the Tropics set is the large sized companion to the smaller N5 set and contains (50) different tropical birds lithographed in beautiful color set against their natural habitats. The larger format cards were issued with the larger packages of Allen & Ginter cigarettes and contain the exact images from the N5 small set with additional lithography on either side of the card and an advertisement for Richmond Straight Cut cigarettes on the front of the card. The backs of the cards show the set title with an advertisement for Richmond Straight Cuts brand with a checklist of the (50) cards and the lithographer's name below Allen & Ginter on the back.
This lot of (10) N38 Allen & Ginter Birds of the Tropics cards are in consistent VG to EX condition, averaging about VGEX. They would make a great addition to any large format Allen & Ginter collection.
