The R89 Gum Inc Mickey Mouse set is a 96 card set of one of the most popular comic characters of all time. Mickey Mouse's popularity exploded in the early 1930's and Gum, Inc of Philadelphia, PA sought to capitalize on that with their set. The set was issued in two different series of 48 cards with each having a companion album. More often than not, the cards found themselves glued into the albums so finding high grade cards is difficult.
This lot is for a single copy of the #92 card "People Like Uncle Walt?" from the R89 Gum Inc Mickey Mouse (Type 2) set that has been graded PSA3 or VG. This card is one of the keys from the set, picturing Walt Disney.
