The N309 American Eagle Tobacco Presidents set uses stock picturing the busts of the first 22 American presidents against a cream type background with a facsimile signature on the bottom front of the card. There is also a rectangular box on the bottom of the card where advertising could be placed. The N309 version of the cards comes from American Eagle Tobacco of Detroit, Michigan and advertising is applied to the back of the cards with none on the fronts. The cards are very popular in any format from any advertiser and are widely collected as are many president cards from the time frame.
This pair of N309B American Eagle Tobacco Presidents are in VG to VGEX condition and includes Buchanan and U.S. Grant. The grant does have a very small paper loss on the front of the card.
