These beautiful oversized Marburg Greenback Tobacco Advertising cabinets measure 7-1/2" x 12-1/2". They have deep black borders and typically picture a titled scene or an actress. They also have pictures of the Marburg Greenback and/or Seal of North Carolina packages on them. The backs have a good deal of advertising for the brand in black print.Marburg produced a number of "N" card sets picturing actresses and other subjects.
This cabinet features the subject "Nubian" and pictures a smiling African man. The piece is in poor condition with a tear on the right side into the main image and some obvious additional faults.
