Big Show Candy boxes are from Schapira Brothers were likely issued in the 1920's. The boxes contained candy and small toys and pictured circus animals. One side of the boxes picture a single circus animal in a funny situation with 'googly' eyes. The top flap of the box, when moved, makes these eyes go up and down a little, creating the 'googly' eyes. The boxes note 'Patented July 4, 1911' on this side. The other side pictures a pair of identified animals in a circus car.
This lot of (3) boxes includes the following subjects: Elephant/(Leopard & Lion), Giraffe/(Bear & Tiger), Hippopotamus/(Panther & Wolf). The boxes are all in VGEX to EX. In one of the boxes, there is a wooden (2/2) domino which is apparently one of the original toys. Another box has a small nugget in it that was apparently some original candy from the issue.
